We hired Herbert's company for a shower remodeling. He was quick to respond, came to the site personally and gave an itemized quote the very next day. There was some wait since they are in high demand, but no too long. The job was completed in a couple days. Professional, clean execution. We are very happy with the quality of the work. If some other project comes around, we will call Herbert again. Highly recommended!

Herbert was very punctual and understanding. His crew led by Mario was outstanding and there were very hard working and efficient. We had some challenging weather which made painting outside difficult at times. They located structural issues in the flashing and repaired them extremely well. I couldn’t recommend them enough

We hired Herbert H Construction for four projects. 1. Our garage is a HUGE waste of space. The ceiling is at least 20ft high, so we are having them add a floor to it. The job is almost complete and we are VERY happy with it so far. 2. Install a buffet cabinet in our dining room and install countertop. 3. Remodel our kitchen. The kitchen remodel will entail replacing granite countertops, lowering part of a countertop, replacing backsplashes, fixing drywall, moving electric and plumbing, installing an electric cooktop, and painting existing cabinets. 4. Fix drywall in half bath and repaint. The garage project is almost complete and the buffet cabinet was installed. All that remains is the kitchen remodel, the buffet countertop and trim, and the bathroom repainting. This company is the best contractor company I've experienced in my 62 years of life. They are communicative throughout the process. The company's namesake, Herbert Hernandez, was our first contact. He worked with us throughout the design/idea process, made sound suggestions and recommendations, provided us with a sensible, affordable estimate, and presented an excellent plan and schedule. The project manager, Mario, is on site regularly to check on progress, to answer questions, and make recommendations/suggestions. The job supervisor, David (Herbert's brother), is fantastic, as are Raymond and the other guys, whose names I can't remember right now. Their work ethic is superb, and they are 100% customer oriented. They're on time, they work hard, do excellent work, clean up their messes, talk to us throughout the work, and far exceed my expectations. I'll update my review and post pictures when the jobs are complete.

Herbert and his contractors did an excellent job expanding our laundry room. We went from a pass-through with only room for the washer/dryer…To a walk-in laundry room with room for a folding counter. every step of the way they were considerate about keeping our costs down. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for remodeling and construction on their current home.

Our remodeled kitchen is the favorite room in our home! Herbert and his associates remodeled our antiquated 1976 kitchen and replaced the living room/den carpeting with porcelain tile, expanded the entryway from kitchen to den area, installed a sliding door leading to the laundry room (AISD kitchen designer said this couldn't be done), and revamped the ceiling. Very familiar with the construction methods used in our home, Herbert had extensive remodeling experience in our neighborhood. He and his men brought superb construction expertise and I never doubted their ability to solve some of the problems presented by our 43 year-old kitchen and living area. I especially appreciate the cabinetry workmanship, the expert execution of the tile work in back of the stove, the willingness to listen, repeatedly, to my concerns and measurement questions, and the skilled craftmanship performed by his team. A year and a half later it's the small things that count for me. No chips in the cabinetry's paint and it's so easy to clean! Herbert installed a unique butcher board top on the small island and it still generates positive comments from friends. The ceiling is so well lit that it turns a dreary day into a happy one. Herbert's firm is about quality service at a fair price. Look at other remodelers but you'll always have to worry about the caliber of the workers. Not these men! They are trustworthy and I had no qualms about giving them the key to the house while I was at work. I would not hesitate to use Herbert again for future remodeling work.

We can not say enough nice things about HerbertHConstruction. We are in our late-70’s and have had many home improvement projects over the years. We can honestly say that HerbertHConstruction has been the best company we have ever worked with. Mario and his crew are extremely gifted craftsmen and very professional. There has never been any issue that that was not solved amicably. We would highly recommend HerbertHConstruction to anyone looking for quality workmanship at a fair price.

I had a water leak that had damaged my downstairs flooring. After getting my pipes fixed HerbertsContructions team came and they started the removal of the damaged flooring and had to remove all of my kitchen cabinets. They worked amazing as a crew and took the time to explain things to me as the process was going along. The flooring took about a week to remove with the glue down old floor and install the new flooring and baseboards. They did amazing work and would definitely use them again on future project. I would Highly recommend them to anyone looking for remodeling or new construction work. Shout out to Mario for his help with the insurance company and helping on that end to ensure that I was getting everything needed from them. David who was making sure that his crews were understanding the job task and helping to make everything a very smooth project. After everything was completed all of the old flooring and trash was gone, everything was clean and ready for furniture back in place. If you are looking for an Honest reliable remodeling or construction company that will take care of your project and your home as their own then look no further. Call Herbert Construction and watch the amazing transformation of your vision project become your reality. Thank you Marty.
